Before I start reviewing, I'll tell my past with Star Wars: I grew up with the Prequel Trilogy. As a tot, I barely remembered The Phantom Menace
. But I remember having one of those toys from KFC where the ocean monster chases the ship, I also remember the pod race, barely Jar Jar, yet I can remember Darth Maul getting cut in half. Attack of the Clones
I remember more with that assassin bloating, the Colosseum, Yoda facing Count Dooku, and Anakin's arm. Was there purple ketchup with Mace Windu on it? Then Revenge of the Sith
came and became my all time favorite of the trilogy. The animated Clone Wars was really good, and I have to thank a friend of mine from elementary for getting me interested. So I got to see the original trilogy - special edition - and they were interesting - yet I wish the original versions were easier to find.
Now on to the review: I really like this movie. J. J. Abrams has done well delivering a promising continuation to the Star Wars saga. John Williams' score is as good as usual. Even if you don't know about the extended series, you'll definitely follow with this one. I say go see it although the box office might be sold out. Like 200 million bucks already? Wow...
